[If you are interested, let me know and I will email you the forms]
Open to all BCTC students! No specific major required.
Are you interested in gaining experience and college credit while working with a Kentucky Legislator during the 2015 Regular Legislative session?
If so, consider applying for the BCTC KY Legislative Student Internship Program. All application material must be completed and submitted by October 15 – Deadline extended. Internship expectations and an application are attached. Candidates will be asked to interview with members of the Bluegrass Outreach and Advocacy Team.
Every attempt will be made to pair students with legislators in their home district or a specific Legislator if requested.
Selected students will earn college credits during Spring 2015 and will be responsible for all costs associated with traveling to and from Frankfort and the assigned legislator’s district office. If interested, please consider this time and travel commitment when scheduling Spring coursework. While not mandatory, past interns have found it helpful to take classes two days a week (suggested Monday/Wednesday) leaving the other two days open for the internship.
If this sounds like something you’d like to do, complete and submit the application and all required application materials by October 15 – Deadline extended. We look forward to hearing from you!
